Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections is hiring a Communications Associate. You will be supporting the Communications Dept. The ideal candidate will have a great time assisting management with public relations tasks and basic administrative duties.

Job Title: Communications Associate

Location: Downtown Tampa

Pay Range: $17/hr

Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm with the availability to work some overtime.

What’s the Job doing?

• Respond to inquiries and requests directed to the Candidate Services Dept via phone, email and in person.

• Answer questions and share voting and elections information with the public.

• Provide voter registration instructions and informational material at offsite outreach events. ( Must have reliable transportation)

• Assist in maintaining electronic and hard copy records.

• Assist with administrative needs of the Communications Dept.

Job Qualifications

• 2 years of Administrative experience, marketing is a plus

• Computer skills, including MS Office products.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communications skills, Spanish fluency is a plus

• Possession of a valid and current FL drivers license with no more than 7 points.
