As the Middle School Coach, you'll work with the High School Head Coach to set expectations for students, provide training on the individual sport and coordinate scheduling for sporting events.LPOSD is well supported by the community, and there are many parents and other community members who regularly volunteer in our schools. • Ability to work effectively withstudents, staff, parents/guardians and other stakeholders

• Previous coaching experience in related sport preferred

All Coaches - Yearly Required Trainings:

All coaches and sponsors need to complete the following trainings and turn in a current certificate to me, ASAP.

• First Aid & CPR Certification within 90 days of hire, and maintenance of current certificate thereafter.

• St. Luke's Concussion Course (https://idhsaa.org/concussion-certification) : Course taken yearly and current certificate on file.

• NFHS Sudden Cardiac Arrest Course (https://nfhslearn.com/courses/sudden-cardiac-arrest) : Course taken yearly and current certificate on file.

• NFHS Student Mental Health & Suicide Prevention Course (https://nfhslearn.com/courses/student-mental-health-and-suicide-prevention) : Course taken yearly and current certificate on file.
