Job Summary and Qualifications

This is administrative role. There is no interaction with the patients. You will be doing research. You will support the function of the review board. This is where they approve medical trials. You will review the paperwork from researchers to the committee. You will review the paperwork and ensure it is in order. Make sure that the paperwork is able to be approved. You will schedule the committee meetings. Make sure all activities are completed during the meetings. You will attend the meetings too. You will take the minutes of the meetings. You will be responsible for in-processing research/clinical trials, processing them, and out processing them. 8-5 M-F

What qualifications you will need:

  • Should have a bachelor's degree but experience is more important. Looking for 5-10 years of experience in Institutional review board (IRB) and/or Human Research Protections experience.

  • You must be able to understand the training requirements of the processors and the committee. If they are not trained you must be able to provide training.

  • Human subject protection training.

  • CIP certification is a plus!! If you don't have it you must get CIP certified within the first 90 days of employment.
