We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Technical Advisor at our Richland, WA location. Working remotely is permitted. Responsibilities: Provide technical assistance for nuclear program business development efforts including development of opportunity strategies and proposal text. Support business development activities and work with the company management in the development of business plans and strategies for U.S. Government and commercial clients. Assist with preparation of project staffing and cost estimates. Participate in company and client communications, meetings and presentations. Support in an advisory capacity, as available, the NNSA Nuclear Smuggling Detection and Deterrence Program Office (NSDD) Design, Integration, Construction, Communications, and Engineering (DICCE2) contract, and the future Counter Nuclear Smuggling System Deployment (CNSSD) contract. Qualifications: Must possess a Bachelor's degree. A minimum of 15 years of U.S. DOE experience is required. Strong technical background in engineering principles and practices. Individual must have experience in developing projects for the Department of Energy, Department of Homeland Security, and commercial clients. Have a proven record of successfully developing and executing projects. Must be able to lead multi-discipline project teams, demonstrate successful experience in project management and execution, and provide high quality work products to the clients. Familiarity with all regulatory requirements under DOE, DHS, DOD, and NRC is required. Good communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint are essential. Have experience working with Federal Contracting policies. A pre-employment drug screen in compliance with federal regulations is required, along with a physical if needed. Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions. Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience. Salary Range: $70.00 - $80.00 hr. Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience and demonstrated work experience in the above role; skills, certifications, and competencies that align to the specified role; geographic location; and education, as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
