We are looking for a Technical Product Owner.

As a Technical Product Owner, you will be at the forefront of our product development efforts, playing a pivotal role in shaping the direction of our technical solutions. You will serve as the bridge between our technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that our products meet both functional requirements and technical standards. By leveraging your expertise in product management and technical acumen, you will drive the successful delivery of innovative and high-quality solutions that address the evolving needs of our customers.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, designers, and QA professionals, to deliver impactful products that drive business value. You will be responsible for defining and prioritizing the product backlog, guiding development efforts, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Backlog Management:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Prioritize the product backlog based on business value, technical feasibility, and other relevant factors.

• Maintain and groom the backlog, ensuring that it accurately reflects the evolving needs of the business and stakeholders.

2. Technical Leadership:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for technical teams, providing guidance and clarification on product requirements.

• Work closely with development teams to ensure a clear understanding of technical requirements and constraints.

• Make informed decisions on technical trade-offs and prioritize technical debt alongside new feature development.

3. Stakeholder Communication:

• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, and other relevant parties, providing regular updates on project status and progress.

• Facilitate communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on product goals and priorities.

• Solicit feedback from stakeholders and incorporate it into the product backlog as appropriate.

4. Product Vision and Strategy:

• Contribute to the development of the product vision and strategy, aligning technical initiatives with broader business objectives.

• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

• Advocate for the adoption of best practices in product management and agile development methodologies.

5. Continuous Improvement:

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the product development process, seeking opportunities to streamline workflows, increase efficiency, and enhance quality.

• Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability within the team and across the organization.

• Proactively identify and address any obstacles or bottlenecks that may impede progress towards project goals.

You’ll win us over by:

• Having An engineering degree B.E/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech/M.Sc with good academic record.

• Experience in a technical product owner role or similar within a software development environment for at least 2-3 years.

• Having Overall working experience the Software development industry of 8-10 years

• Having Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban.

• Having Worked as PO or Architect on Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP,... ) and IoT based platform projects.

• Having Proficiency in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and maintaining technical documentation.

• Having Strong stakeholder (R&D teams, product management, business management) management .

• Having Persuasive communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

• Having Technical knowledge in software development in cloud platforms.

Optional Skills:

• Experienced in Building Automation industry or market is an additional advantage

• Experience in SAFe.

• Understanding of UX and usability.

• Certifications in product management (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner or SAFe PM/PO).

• Advanced technical skills or knowledge in specific areas relevant to the product, such as AI, machine learning.

• Experience in facilitating workshops or training sessions.

• Familiarity with project management tools and software, such as RTC, JIRA
