Overview

The Mastercard Merchant Acceptance Program is looking for a Senior Software Engineer – Test to drive our customer experience strategy forward by consistently innovating and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is passionate about ensuring quality of the product by performing efficient testing and automation.

Merchant Acceptance Program consists of products & solutions that aim to increase Mastercard's acceptance footprint and improving quality of card holder experience at the point of interaction.

Role:

Ensures team adherence to Quality Assurance policies, procedures and processes, on a Sprint basis

Define and contribute to team agreement for test strategy

Responsible for design & development of automated tests

Provide technical training to fellow team members

Responsible to Ensure high performance applications which are secure, scalable and error free

All about you:

4-8 years of experience in performing QA tasks, functional testing, debugging, defect reporting.

Experience in testing UI applications and APIs.

Experience in Automated testing of web-based software applications and API testing.

Experience in different testing strategies; functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, black box testing, Automation, UAT, Performance

Experience in Java

Proficient in any one load testing tool

Strong experience with testing REST API Microservices.

Knowledgeable in Continuous Integration & Delivery testing & principles.

Some of the technologies you'll be using Postman, Maven, Selenium, Serenity (Desire and proactivity to learn new technologies is a must)
