As part of great team you will be responsible for execution of the Procurement reporting/controlling function to provide a regular management information system. Optimization of controlling processes

Job Summary:

  • You will be part of our Global Functional Excellence team.

  • Reliable execution of the reporting/controlling function to provide a regular (management) information system and to establish data transparency within defined area of responsibility.

  • As an expert in the field of Data Analysis and Visualization, you are responsible for the preparation and analysis of structured and unstructured data using methods of Data Mining, Data Modeling, Machine Learning and Predictive Analysis and Data Visualization. Data Analytics solutions are created based on business requirements. In addition to data visualization, you are able to transform this data into the context of a business story and roadmap.

  • Adherence to and deployment of superordinated requirements (guidelines, KPIs) and controlling tools to secure consequent process compliance.

  • Increase of transparency about Procurement activities and occurrences within assigned area of responsibility to assist and support business challenges and processes on the functional level.

  • Optimization and efficiency enhancement of the controlling process under selection and implementation of appropriate controlling tools (following superordinated requirements) for the assigned area of responsibility. Participation in workshops and projects to collect information and to further develop the controlling function.

  • Support coordination and controlling of the budget planning for the assigned unit(s) (worldwide), in alignment with other relevant organizational units, cross-functions and superordinated units.

  • Support & drive digitalisation topics that enhance the controlling process & further develop the function, contribute to knowledge transfer (guidelines, tools, etc.) to the assigned unit(s) and interface partners through proactive communication and participation in workshops

  • Conception, design and prototyping of reports and dashboards for SCM. The data-based questions are developed by you and solved in a way that promotes business. Proficiency in data analytics tools and visualisation tools like Qlik & Power BI, experienced in interpreting data to support decision-making.

· Preparation and execution of comprehensive (ad-hoc) analyses, concepts, and presentations to support management decisions.

Your profile.

  • MBA, bachelor’s degree or comparable professional education in Business Administration, Accounting or related field or relevant experience of 5 years with an emphasis in data analysis.

  • Sound knowledge of MS Office, and relational databases & should be able to optimize the existing data models.

  • High business acumen: ability to engage with multiple levels of the organization for process improvement and solution development while maintaining a problem-solving attitude.

  • Understanding of SQL with Data Warehouse & has demonstrated experience working in Azure Cloud, AWS, and Snowflake Cloud environments.

  • Proficiency in data analytics tools and visualisation tools like Qlik & Power BI, experienced in interpreting data to support decision-making.

  • Technical curiosity about, and experience with, some or all digitalization tools, like QlikSense / Power BI, Mendix, KNIME/Talend, Anaplan etc. with experience in data mining with ETL processes would be added plus.

  • Self-starter who prioritizes multiple projects with competing deadlines collaborating effectively with matrixed departments and is motivated to promote change.

  • Strong understanding of business processes in various systems within the Organization, implications, and data flows.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
