CASCADE AGRONOMICS Fert/Chem Warehouseman & CDL Driver (Tankers/HAZMAT) : Overtime & Benefits in MOSES LAKE, Washington

We are one of the area's largest providers of natural fertilizers and specialize in the transport and application of cattle and chicken fertilizers along with conventional fertilizers and chemicals

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced CDL driver with tanker and hazmat endorsements (preferred) for transporting fertilizers and chemicals. Transporting will not be year-round, other duties will include maintenance on fertilizer pumps, as well as other field equipment.

The following is needed to be considered for this position. EDUCATION: High School Graduate; GED/HS Equivalency Ability to read, write, comprehend, and speak English fluently as a second language

LICENSING, ENDORSEMENTS, & CERTIFICATIONS: Clean MVR and driving record Current Driver's License Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat (preferred) endorsements Hold a current medical card

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: Basic knowledge of DOT rules, regulations, and policies Basic math skills are required Accurately track receiving and delivery of fertilizers and chemicals Operate scale calculate scale tickets Perform pre-and-post trip inspections Properly load, tarp, and scale a variety of products Ability to lift 80 to 100 lbs. Ability to climb ladders and shovel Communicate with mechanics on all maintenance and repair issues Keeping the interior and exterior of trucks in professional and clean condition

Ability to read and follow maps, google pins, or other forms of locations instructions

MISCELLANEOUS: Entry-level knowledge of computers, software programs, and applications Attend all meetings and trainings Willingness to participate in random drug and alcohol testing Willingness to assist or work in any or all areas as needed

Required Licenses: CLASS A CDL with HAZMAT (preferred) tanker endorsements Special Skills: Good communication skills and ability to work as a team
