CASI, Cruise Administration Services Inc, a Carnival Cruise Line entity in the Philippines currently has a Recruitment Lead role available with Holland America.

Job Summary:

The role is responsible for supporting the Managers of Hotel Talent Attraction with Holland America to oversee the day-to-day activities of the onboarding coordinators in Manila, and conducting recruitment activities as defined on periodic basis. The Team Lead will assist to monitor Pinpoint and flow of applications, assist the Recruitment managers when they need help to clear back logs in applications and support them to achieve the recruitment KPI’s. Open, close and update positions in Pinpoint, as per guidance from Senior Manager Talent Acquisition. Support and assist with training the team on any new procedures or processes implemented. Monitor the time and attendance of the team and report to the Manager if there are any challenges. The Team Lead will also be responsible for Recruiting for specific positions as needed.

Essential functions:

  • Review job descriptions and job specifications are aligned with requirements of role through departmental consultation.

  • Ensure review of all candidates resumes and job applications online, based on assigned departments.

  • Timely scheduling interviews for shortlisted applicants for online via MS teams (or similar) to assess soft skills and technical knowledge of candidates.

  • Conduct review & assess candidates’ response to questions. Record scoring in ATS, with clear, concise commentary of responses. Recommend next steps, based on evaluation.

  • Timely scheduling and conduct of Recruitment Manager call with candidates to verify suitability and required skills

  • Timely preparation of Job Offer for successful candidates. Updating of candidates status on Pinpoint based on outcome of interviews. Assign identified reason for rejections.

  • Conduct monthly call with hiring managers of departments covered for calibration of interviewed candidates and endorsed candidates. Review actions for the next month.

  • Supervise daily activities and mentoring of team members.

  • Prepare monthly reports

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree. Hospitality, Business administration, HR or related

  • 5 years of related professional-level experience in one or more of the following functions: HR administration, and logistics services. Prefer cruise industry experience.

  • Has a proven ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism, flexibility high-quality customer service, effective verbal and written communications skills, and teamwork to accommodate the high volume, fast-paced work environment

  • Experience in managing a team of two

  • Experience in recruitment and selection

  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed.

  • Have the ability to follow directives promptly and thoroughly.

  • Have the ability to take initiative and work both independently and as part of a team

  • Excellent knowledge of ATS system and ability to use technological solutions of the company.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access & power point)

  • Can exercise astute judgment and follow outlined procedures with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Requires strong organizational skills.

  • Knowledgeable of immigration and visa requirements related to seafarers in various geographical areas.

  • Applies knowledge of flag and port state regulations related to visa regulations and entry documentation necessary for crew movement.
