Amazon Finance Manager, EU GTS Finance in Luxembourg, Luxembourg
Description
Amazon is seeking a highly analytical and resourceful Finance Manager to support Global Transportation Services (GTS). GTS Finance team collaborates with partners across Operations, Procurement and Commercial Development, Customer Experience, Business Intelligence, and other teams to ensure on time and fast delivery for our customers with the right cost structure. As a Finance Manager, you’ll help us optimize our finances so that we can enhance our customer experience even more and navigate the fast-changing business environment.

Key job responsibilities
• Lead finance support for contract negotiations and business development initiatives, being the single threaded finance leader on the deals.
• Finance business partner to GTS Operations teams, identify and communicate insights to drive business actions.
• Lead large-scale EU-wide projects, providing finance support and thought leadership to maximize end-to-end value for Amazon.
• Build robust and scalable finance processes and tools that influence and support tactical and strategic decision making.
• Onboard, develop and mentor team members.
A day in the life
As a Finance Manager, you’ll play a core role in a number of projects and negotiations. You’ll collaborate with partners in different areas of our business to provide insights on improvements in our operational performance. This will involve deep diving into data, showing how different scenarios impact our business, and making recommendations to our stakeholders to make business decisions. This role will allow you to work independently, whilst also working closely with our partners to provide the insights they need.

Basic Qualifications
A degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or another relevant field
Relevant experience in a finance role including partnering with a variety of stakeholders across the business
Relevant experience in managing people
Relevant experience working with Excel and large-scale data mining and reporting tools such as Python, SQL or Tableau
Relevant experience in financial modelling
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced or master’s degree in finance, economics or mathematics, such as a CA, CMA, CWA or MBA
Experience working in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
Experience working in large teams or at a national/multinational organisation
Experience communicating complex information and solutions to senior stakeholders and influence decisions
