We call this commitment Care by Design.We are seeking a Lead Storeperson to join the Distribution team in our Louisville, KY warehouse. This position is responsible for leading the Outbound Parcel area of the operation, and will be one of the 4 Leads in our warehouse, all specializing in different areas.Responsibilities:Applies extensive knowledge and company policies to complete a wide range of assignmentsTakes the lead in effectively applying new processes and skills in accomplishing assignmentsWorks on complex problems that require independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issuesAdheres to all quality guidelinesProvides guidance to less experienced team membersDirects the day-to-day activities of the distribution operation for the assigned areaResponsible for 5S company standards and safety programsMaintain positive employee relationsMeet or exceed all relevant key performance indicatorsKey Qualifications:Minimum 2 years' experience in a distribution center/shipping & receiving roleMinimum 1 years' experience in leading/supervising a teamStrong written and verbal communication skillsComputer skills i.e. data entry, understanding of core systemsForklift certification requiredAbility to lift 50lbs or more requiredHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent requiredStrong organizational and planning skills with attention to detailIn return, we will offer you an opportunity to work as part of a dedicated and energetic sales team at a company with a fantastic culture of commitment to our employees and customers.
