We have an exciting opportunity for a highly driven Refinery Outloader to join our Team in Liverpool. The role will be reporting to the Refinery Coordinator and would ensure the effective and safe movement and handling of materials, products and chemicals across the Brocklebank operations to support the manufacturing operations to achieve best in class operating performance from every perspective.
SHIFT PATTERN
Mornings shift pattern: Mondays – Thursdays is 06:30 – 13:30, Fridays is 06:30 – 17:00
Afternoons shift pattern: Mondays – Thursdays is 13:30 – 21:30
Nights shift pattern: Sundays 19:00 – 06:30, Mondays – Thursdays 21:30 – 06:30
RESPOINSIBILITIES
Safe working across the site and ensure that the working environment is maintained to the highest standard of safety.
Awareness of the Environmental Permit for the site and the operating conditions and limits within it.
Carry out mandatory site safety inspections and surveys.
Comply with Permit System and LOTO requirements.
Maximising product movements whilst staying within defined quality parameters.
Coordinate with own and site support teams regarding material movements and handover. This information should be shared with all appropriate bodies.
Ordering of supplies to ensure the effective operation of the site services function.
Use SAP system to report and track any maintenance issues or safety issues found during the shift.
Site cleaning and housekeeping will be a part of everyday duties including auditing and control of documentation in representation of the site hygiene.
Taking of samples, maintenance/storage of them and disposal after defined period of time (12 months)
Write and work to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), create, update and review these annually.
Manage material movement interruptions during shift i.e. trouble shoot situation, find basic cause, make decision whether temporary repair can be made or to repair immediately, coordinate repair and restart activity, communicate to Logistics in Swinderby and all relevant parties on break downs and EDT matters. Achieve minimization of callouts.
This position must be capable of supporting the Process Technician role; refer to the Process technician PCS.
Laboratory final analysis testing of all oils prior to loading.
Contribute to new site projects and continuous improvement ideas along with delivering a continuous improvement project.
Comply with AIB, EFSIS, FEMAS, ISO standards,… all relevant documentation filed, samples stored and associated housekeeping completed. Monitor and comply with site HACCP, PRP,… programs.
Cross train into different areas of the operation (Preparation, Extraction, Refinery); with regards to the Process role. This includes the development and demonstration of behavioural skills and operating skills along with participation in feedback processes.
REQUIREMENT
NVQ III/HNC in performing manufacturing operations or equivalent experience
5 GCSE’s grade A-C (including English and Maths)
Experience within an industrial process environment.
Must be able to operate within a fast moving, flexible and self-managed environment
