The Optum Rx Product Owner will be responsible for the operational performance, strategy, P&L and growth of an external facing Pharmacy Analytics product. This position oversees the strategic direction, roadmaps and implementation of new features for this revenue generating product.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ownership of product, roadmap features and goals to drive performance and growth

• Liaise with external customers to understand their needs and be able to translate those needs to a functional, scalable product.

• Maintains the Product Implementation Plan and ensures its accuracy

• Works with Product Leadership to identify new product features, prioritize them in a backlog and add to Roadmap

• Monitors performance of Product and identifies opportunities for process improvement

• Oversight of product marketing strategy, creating a plan for growth

• Oversight of SOW creation and maintenance of performance goals with vendors

• Ensure effective performance of product in marketspace, and identifying strategic opportunities for future growth

Required Qualifications:

• Product development experience in pharmacy , Healthcare consultancy or related fields

• Experience driving project teams and executing in a complex organization

• Experience communicating/presenting to senior leadership

• Excellent familiarity with the Product Development Lifecycle

• Experience with strategic thinking: analyze market data, create strategic/long range plans, interpret competitive intelligence & identify opportunities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in designing reporting and measuring performance against product goals

• Experience with P&L and budgets associated with products

• Experience with Marketing and/or Sales – directly or indirectly

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and data analysis tools
