Introduction:

Our matured IT Project Management Office (PMO) group at GLOBALFOUNDRIES looks for a personable and experienced plus motivated Project Manager (PM) to support our major technology initiatives. Your Job:

The Project Manager will oversee the successful planning and implementation of the enterprise-wide rollout of core systems using standard project management tools and processes. The role requires mastery of program and project management including successful oversight of scope, time, issue resolution, risk mitigation, communications, and stakeholder management. Advanced knowledge in manufacturing processes and vendor management. This Project Manager must have an extraordinarily strong planning, demand management, and resource management skills to successfully lead and manage program initiatives.

• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.

  Required Qualifications :

• 8 year’s experience in project management with a strong track record for on-time and on-budget performance while leading large, complex projects using Agile methodologies.

• Master’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, Project Management, or related discipline is needed.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification with Agile (CSM) is needed.

• 5 years people leadership & career development needed.

• Must be able to work end to end, across the value stream to connect the dots.

• Be able to view the high-level picture and able to be trying out process with technology.

• Manage and deliver end-to-end implementations of IT projects including technology platform, infrastructure upgrades, CISO/ compliance IT projects.

• Lead all aspects of multi-phase projects across global GF locations.

• Oversee project timeline, deliverables, and internal/external project resources.

• Guide team members from concept to implementation phases and troubleshoot complex issues.

• Work closely with project team members, subject matter experts, business counterparts, and management to ensure prompt status reporting and issue resolution.

• Provide consistent and clear communications between all project stakeholders and report on progress to the Executive Steering Committee.

• Conduct technical design on integrations, data conversions, and workflow.

• Direct business process evaluations, and systems analysis and design.

• Proven experience with understanding and interpretation of data & data migrations.

• Advanced knowledge of office productivity & project management tools such as MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, ServiceNow, and SharePoint.

• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff and with members of interdisciplinary teams.

• Keen attention to detail and proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.

• Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS PowerPoint)

• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.

• Must be comfortable in matrix management environments and work effectively with others in managing complex projects and proven track record of successfully leading teams of consultants through entire project life cycle process.

• Exposure towards working in the global environment

  Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in AI/ ML projects is highly preferred.

• Good to have Cloud/ Microsoft /VMware /Cisco certifications with strong understanding of latest technologies.

• Good to have experience in managing a semi-conductor or manufacturing industry projects.
