AON Head of Finance (CFO) in Jakarta, Indonesia
Head of Finance (CFO)
We are looking for a Head of Finance (CFO) to join us in our Jakarta office.

Role responsibilities
Manage and be responsible for all cash management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, and help drive the company’s financial strategy
Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations by overseeing day-to-day activities and align with Aon internal control and regulatory requirements
Develop and implement standard processes to ensure a well-controlled yet flexible finance team to support operational activities and company growth
Manage and overseeing accounts receivable for faster collection and align with Aon guideline
Manage and ensure that premium payment is processed appropriately in line with Aon and statutory requirements
Manage and control operational expenses are accurate and have supporting document with compliance of Aon internal control
Liaise and work together with operational team to ensure Aon revenue recognition is applied accordingly
Managing the financial reporting for the organisation. This include monthly financial report, budget, forecast and statutory financial report for partner and statutory requirements in line with Aon guideline
Liaise and work together with broking unit heads and other teams for finalization of revenue and expense forecast including headcount and submission of profit loss with estimate closing number
Liaise and work together with sales team and HR for calculation of producer incentives
Actively involve in internal operations, and identify areas for cost reduction and process enhancement
Managing and overseeing the taxation affairs of the organisation and responsible for all corporate taxes including payment and report submission are regulation compliant
Managing the external auditor (public accountant and OJK) relationship and ensuring the organisation follows accounting standards
Establishing and developing relations with senior management, external partners and collaborators
Managing the relationship with external parties including but not limited to tax consultant, banker, client and insurer to support smooth operational
Manage finance team and provide leadership, direction and coaching team members for a solid finance team in line with Aon value
This role will lead a team of 8 colleagues.

We are seeking a new colleague to lead our Finance team in Indonesia and implement/align Aon United practices across all lines of business. The successful applicant will join Aon at a unique time, where one can make an impact and take part in the strategic delivery of our Aon Global 3x3 plan. Playing a pivotal role in Aon Indonesia, the Group Financial Controller and Head of Finance will be instrumental in supporting the business through this exciting journey.
The successful candidate will report to the CFO of the ASIA sub-region but also to the Head of Indonesia.
The role will be required to provide inspirational people leadership, creating and maintaining a successful, diverse and engaged team and ensuring team continuity through the development of succession plans for key roles and mentoring of high potential staff.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
Proven work experience as a Head of Finance or similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
At least 10 years’ post qualification experience in a finance function, preferably including big four public accounting experience or similar experience in a corporate finance function
Disciplined approach of Financial Management and in-depth understanding of relevant regulatory requirements
Strong accounting, process, and controls background with the ability to identify key risks
Experience from regular planning, forecasting and financial reporting processes
Highly motivated and proactive
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to work independently but also collaboratively building relationships across the organisation
Confident, accurate and resilient
Strategic development and implementation ability
Excellent problem solver and business partner, but knows where to draw the line and has the strength to do so, when required
Passionate about continuous operational improvement, including leading our team’s global simplification and productivity goal
