Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Tool Crib Attendant to work in our Material Control department. Our team works a 4x10 schedule located out of our Specific Manufacturing Capabilities (SMC) facility with every Friday off.

In this position, you will support SMC organizations through receipt, inspection, staging, and storage of spare parts, production consumables, maintenance supplies, tools, chemicals and consumables. Ensure quality and security requirements are maintained for all materials stored in the area. Work with the warehouse Material Handling Technician in receiving, storing, staging, delivering, and disposition of received materials.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Issue and deliver materials for work order and non-work order activities and ensure materials are identified and stored.

  • Maintain data base to reflect material issue, receipt, and inventory balances as well as maintain tracking for all checked out equipment.

  • Issue chemicals from chemical inventory, and production consumables

  • Order, maintain inventory of certain clothing items and manage storage areas for efficiency

  • Material handling manually and with forklifts

  • Support other warehouse personnel in performance of their assignments as required for uninterrupted warehouse operation as well as support independent audit groups with appropriate paperwork, material lists, and information

  • Accept assignments of increasing complexity and responsibility as individual matures in position.

  • Coordinate support activities with people and organizations across SMC, INL and external vendors and contractor, and maintain inventory of IVM's.

Minimum Requirements:

  • TS0300: HS diploma (or GED equivalent) and 4 years experience or a Vocational Certification and 1 year relevant experience.

  • TS0400: HS diploma (or GED equivalent) and 6 years of relevant experience or a Vocational Certification and 1 year relevant experience.

  • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "Q" clearance, which requires US Citizenship.

  • TS0400 - 180 ($64,272 - $102,840)
