The Role: Infrastructure Engineer

The Team:

The Production Systems Support (PSS) team is primarily responsible for the processing that creates over Two-Thousand XpressFeed financial data packages. PSS is a team comprised of highly technical people who have superior problem solving capabilities, enabling them to trouble shoot and solve problems on very technically diverse systems.

As part of Techops Team we have Terraform Modules for Infra implementations ,Managing EKS clusters.

The Impact:

PSS team members provide a highly valued service to the corporation and for the customers who receive our financial products. The PSS team watches over every step of the processing from ingestion and transformation to the creation of the finished product.

What’s in it for you:

As a PSS team member you will have an opportunity to work with all the teams who participate in the planning, building, maintaining and delivering of SPGMI products. We work on highly complex platforms, including multiple technologies. You will work with application teams using technologies including Terraform, AWS, EKS, Migrating from on-prem to cloud etc…

Responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities of a PSS team member include Service Operations, Transition and Continual service improvement functions.

  • On Call Production Support, trouble shooting, Incident and Problem management

  • Service Request fulfillment to support internal groups

  • Infrastructure Configuration management

  • Knowledge management - Writing technical documentation for team training

  • Infrastructure migration planning and support, including implementation and validation

  • Disaster Recovery planning, testing, and failover implementation

  • Site Reliability Engineering - utilizing advanced notification and automation

What We’re Looking For:

Preferred Skills:

• AWS professionals with development or architecture background.

• Good experience in delivering infrastructure solutions using AWS services

• Terraform Expertise

• EKS implementation hands on

• GITHUB Actions CI/CD Delivery implementation
