POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Clean Fuels Technology Manager will support all aspects of KBR’s clean fuels technologies portfolio, including R&D, business development and customer support. The clean fuels technology portfolio includes KBR’s solid alkylation technology K-SAAT, KBR’s isomerization technology MAXISOM as well as NExOCTANE and NExETHERS technologies. Responsibilities will include:

  • Business development activities for clean fuels technology portfolio. Develops and maintains relationships with key client decision makers and executives.

  • Interprets, organizes, executes, and coordinates assignments

  • Prepare and conduct technology sessions, presenting papers, building customer and partner relationships, and develop new/existing sales leads

  • Participates in global marketing events as a spokesperson for the business line

  • Coordination of cross-functional teams

  • Maintains awareness and evaluates the state of the global clean fuel technology markets, advising on business line strategy and technology development.

  • Support the evaluation and execution of alliances and acquisitions of relevant technologies

  • Applies advanced theories, concepts, principles, and processes to innovate and advance KBR’s clean fuels technology portfolio

  • Responsible for complete Technical Proposal development by working collaboratively with a global engineering and equipment team

  • Perform other duties as assigned

    REQUIREMENTS:

  • BSc or MSc in Chemical Engineering or equivalent, MBA preferred.

  • Minimum of 10+ years CURRENT experience in relevant clean fuel technologies including alkylation and isomerization

  • Ability to work in cross-functional and multi-cultural environments

  • Must have the ability to clearly convey technical concepts and principles in both verbal and written communications to clients, peers, and KBR management

  • Operational experience is a plus

    SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be willing and available for 25-40% domestic and international travel
