Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper in Honolulu, Hawaii

Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join a Honolulu, Hawaii. organization This role involves a broad range of accounting functions, including financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and fixed assets. You will also be responsible for reconciling general ledger balances, bank statements, credit card statements, and vendor statements, as well as preparing accounts receivable statements and issuing them to customers. Responsibilities:

• Handle all accounting functions, including financial reporting and general ledger maintenance.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, along with cash management and fixed assets.

• Prepare accounts receivable statements and issue them to customers, following up on outstanding accounts.

• Reconcile general ledger balances, identifying and correcting any accounting errors.

• Reconcile monthly bank statement, credit card statements, and vendor statements.

• Calculate and file monthly general excise taxes.

• Process semi-monthly payroll through a third-party provider.

• Prepare credit references for vendors and/or new suppliers.

• Assist other departments or sections during peak periods as required.

• Utilize various skillsets including proficiency in Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Outlook, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, and Billing Functions.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is necessary

• Must be skilled in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suites is essential

• Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook is a must

• Ability to handle Accounting Functions effectively

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is required

• Proficiency in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary

• Experience in conducting Bank Reconciliations is essential

• Should be able to perform Billing Functions efficiently
