This opportunity resides with Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Summary

HII-Mission Technologies is currently seeking an Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Systems Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a position supporting a US Government customer at Ramstein AB (Kaiserslautern), Germany. The ISR Systems SME will serve as the on-site expertise for imagery exploitation of US ISR platforms with a focus on enhancing coalition partner ISR capabilities and interoperability.

What You Will Do

  • Serve as an all-source analyst subject matter expert (SME) with special knowledge on hybrid threats against US and NATO forces in steady-state and crisis-state.

  • Disseminate carefully sourced, accurate, timely, and relevant force protection-related intelligence and SPOT reports in support of 3 separate squadrons with separate missions.

  • Author and prepare country reports for deployed/deploying tactical units with special focus on risks posed by emerging threats. Also, research and compile Intelligence Information Reports (IIRs) and provide threat-informed protection briefs in support of 60+ missions each year.

  • Provide assessments and briefing on offensive and defensive weapons systems and EMSO capabilities, establishing collection/reporting requirements, advising on recognition and detection techniques, and otherwise preparing teams for operations in permissive and non-permissive environments.

  • Conduct communications intelligence research and analysis using classified systems and specialized IC tools. Apply that analysis to develop professional briefings and written products in support of commanders and staff.

  • Brief senior leadership on real-world events impacting mission planning and troop readiness during the weekly ops sync.

  • Support the development of annual USAFE-AF AFRICA military exercises and provide intelligence-related injects to enhance troop readiness and fidelity-level of training.

What We Are Looking For

  • 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 1 year experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field.

  • Experience in USAF or USG ISR systems, capabilities and programs.

  • A mission oriented, team focused approach to supporting our customer.

  • The ability to think, operate, and execute autonomously or as part of a small team.

  • Experience in Microsoft Office programs with the ability to create professional content.

  • Clearance- Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI

Preferred: Bonus Points For...

  • A history supporting military ISR programs in the European and African Areas of Responsibility.

  • Recent experience with European and/or Coalition Partner nations in the role of trainer or advisor.

  • Prior work history in NGA GEOINT, or ISR work with other DoD/USG customers and programs

  • A willingness to continue learning and improving, sometimes in the context of assuming new responsibilities or duties.

  • A desire to teach, coach, and mentor supported individuals and teams.
