The Sales & Marketing Specialist is responsible for driving an efficient sales process by optimizing sales activities including sales opportunity planning, customer proposals, and prospect engagement tracking. The Sales & Marketing Manager role plays an integralsupporting key Lead Generation and brand awareness activities through the support of planning and execution of events and webinars. Development of appropriate databases, resources, sales collateral andwill work collaboratively with the sales team, marketing team, and key stakeholders in each Texas market.

Your Responsibilities:

Â

The job duties for this role include, but are not limited to the following:

Â

  • Ensure optimal utilization of the Sales Opportunity Planner. Create proposals and RFPs using CRM automation, InDesign templates and Readz digital platform
  • Manage and regulate the proposal request process. Execute the sales methodology on a deal by deal basis
  • Ensure digital and printed material that is used in board interactions is accurate, on brand and aligned with our sales methodology. SME in CRM, PowerBI, Sales Methodology + Process
  • Meets proposal deadline by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, and approval; coordinating requirements with contributors; contributing proposal status information to review meetings; transmitting proposals.
  • Architect, update and polish various sales presentations, modifying as needed.
  • Consistently analyze opportunities to accelerate sales cycle through sales tools
  • Plan and lead execution of all Texas Region events and webinars, this including securing event locations, menu, invitations, RSVPs, reporting, etc.

  • Collaborate with local market operations support teams and the Business Development team to execute planned educational events and webinars

  • Track and maintain event calendar and event processes
  • Provide event examination analysis and key learning reports to stakeholders
  • Work with Research Coordinator to track event attendance and input necessary scoring
  • Create email event marketing campaigns using a marketing automation platform
  • Work closely with Marketing and Communications Manager, Campaign Manager and Graphic Designer to create compelling website experience for events
  • Manage relationship with external suppliers (printers, mail house, etc.)
  • Serve as a liaison to stakeholders across Texas
  • Field ad hoc content and support requests from sales and marketing teams

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, communications, advertising or related field.    3+ years’ experience in corporate marketing or communications environment, with direct responsibility for researching and writing content for a variety of tops and audiences.
  • Experience in event management.

  • Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to write with persuasion
  • Must be goal minded and possess a self-starting drive to get the job done.
  • Urgency and time management skills with ability to manage and set expectations
  • Experience working with CRM platforms or similar systems. (Microsoft Dynamics CRM a plus.)
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Applications, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign

  • Ability to monitor, analyze campaigns and events to report findings to RVP

  • Experience with sales enablement software a plus.

  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude, work in a team environment, and work well under pressure

  • Excellent problem solver; demonstrates ability to use creative alternatives.
  • Works effectively with coworkers, clients, customers, and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner; addresses opportunities constructively to find mutually acceptable and practical business solutions.

Compensation : Â $25 - $27 / hour
