We are seeking an experienced attorney with relevant industry experience, including counseling in-house business clients, to join the Sanofi North America Legal team as Corporate Counsel, Patient Support and Diagnostic Testing.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and support on patient support programs and diagnostic testing initiatives, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including service agreements, confidentiality agreements, and partnership agreements related to patient support and diagnostic testing.

  • Monitor and interpret evolving healthcare laws, regulations, and guidelines affecting patient support and diagnostic testing, advising the business on potential impacts and necessary adjustments.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including compliance, regulatory, and medical affairs, to ensure that patient support and diagnostic testing activities align with company policies and legal requirements.

  • Develop and deliver training to internal teams on legal issues related to patient support programs and diagnostic testing, fostering awareness and understanding of compliance and legal risks.

About you:

  • JD and a license to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction (Massachusetts or New Jersey preferred).

  • A minimum of 5 years of legal experience, preferably including both in a law firm and in-house, in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industry.

  • Experience working in a matrix, international environment.

  • Team player with a commitment to developing strong collaborative relationships with legal colleagues, business stakeholders and cross-functional teams

  • Demonstrated ability to understand legal principles and compliance, as well as business requirements
